A wholesale lot of 10 natural Platyceras fossils, extinct marine gastropods (sea snails) from the Paleozoic era, dating roughly 443 to 252 million years ago. Platyceras is recognized by its distinctive curved, cap-like shell, broad and asymmetrical at the front, with a slightly coiled apex.

These gastropods lived in shallow Paleozoic seas and are well known among collectors for their close association with crinoids. Platyceras individuals are frequently found attached to crinoid calyxes in the fossil record, one of the longest documented symbiotic relationships between marine invertebrates.

Loose, natural fossil stones, sold as a set of 10. Each piece varies in exact size, shape, and preservation.

Natural fossils may show matrix remnants, surface texture, and minor imperfections from the fossilization process. These are authentic characteristics, not defects.
