We want your minerals to arrive safely and quickly. Here's everything you need to know about how we ship.
Processing Time
Most orders are processed and shipped within 2–5 business days of payment. One-of-a-kind specimens may take slightly longer as we ensure they're properly packed for safe transit. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order is on its way.
Shipping Methods & Rates
We ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on the size and weight of your order. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight. We do our best to keep shipping costs reasonable — heavy boxes of minerals are genuinely expensive to ship, and we don't pad our rates.
Delivery Estimates
After shipping, typical delivery windows are:
- Standard: 3–7 business days
- Priority: 2–3 business days
- Express: 1–2 business days (available on select orders)
These are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Delays due to weather, carrier volume, or other factors outside our control may occur.
Packaging
We take packaging seriously. Minerals and crystals are wrapped individually in bubble wrap or foam, nestled in appropriately sized boxes with packing material to prevent shifting. Fragile specimens (clusters, points, stalactites) receive extra attention. We've shipped thousands of packages and have a strong track record of safe delivery.
Order Tracking
You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. Use it on the carrier's website to follow your package's progress.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package arrives damaged, please photograph the damage (box and contents) and contact us within 72 hours of delivery. We'll work with you on a replacement or refund. For packages showing as delivered but not received, please check with neighbors and your local post office first, then contact us.
Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for packages shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If you catch an address error after ordering, contact us immediately — we can often correct it before the order ships.
