Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Orders & Products
Are your minerals natural and authentic?
Yes. Every specimen we sell is a genuine natural mineral, fossil, or meteorite. We do not sell lab-created or synthetic stones unless explicitly stated. Many of our one-of-a-kind specimens are photographed individually so you know exactly what you're getting.
Do your photos accurately represent the products?
We do our best to photograph products accurately under good lighting. Monitors vary, and natural stones can look slightly different depending on light source. If you have questions about a specific piece, contact us before ordering.
What if a product is out of stock?
Out-of-stock items are removed from the store. If you're looking for something specific, contact us — we may be able to source it or have it available at an upcoming show.
Do you sell wholesale?
We offer select bulk items online (kyanite by the pound, cabochon lots, etc.). For larger wholesale inquiries, please contact us directly.
Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship?
We ship throughout the United States. Please see our Shipping Policy for full details.
How is my order packaged?
Minerals are packed with care using cushioned wrap and appropriately sized boxes. Fragile specimens get extra padding. We take packaging seriously.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Most orders ship within 2–5 business days. Delivery typically takes an additional 3–7 business days. See our Shipping Policy for more detail.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for items in their original condition. Contact us first to initiate a return. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or was incorrectly described.
What if my item arrives damaged?
Please photograph the damage and contact us within 72 hours of delivery. We'll work with you on a replacement or refund.
Crystals & Metaphysics
Do you believe in the metaphysical properties of crystals?
We appreciate the tradition and share it openly in our blog. That said, we make no medical or therapeutic claims. Crystals are beautiful natural objects with rich cultural histories — how you use them is entirely up to you.
What's so special about kyanite?
Kyanite is one of the few minerals that doesn't retain or accumulate negative energy, which means it theoretically never needs cleansing. It also comes in a range of stunning colors and forms. Read more on our Shooting Star News blog.
