Blue Kyanite Round Cabochons 6mm

Blue Kyanite cabochons cut to a 6mm round shape, flat on the reverse and polished dome on the face. Kyanite is an aluminum silicate mineral (Al₂SiO₅) in the triclinic crystal system, notable for its strong pleochroism and directionally variable hardness — approximately 4.5 Mohs along the blade axis and up to 7 Mohs perpendicular to it. The vivid blue color results from trace iron and titanium in the crystal lattice. These cabochons are calibrated for standard bezel and prong settings; the consistent 6mm sizing makes them straightforward to source settings for.
